Default P06 convert to P28???

Somebody told me that it was possible?? how is that possible? Just checking to make sure. I dunno if that person is telling the truth.

if the conversion is done correctly, it can be used on a SOHC VTEC motor or DOHC too? if so i dont understand how a SOHC ECU can be used on a DOHC when there are 2 cams. and different graphs.

They work with the same sensors, so the ECU does not know if it is SOHC or DOHC (or does it need to know). The only differences you will find is emsissions stuff (and knock, IAB control if not added to the p06/05/28) the ECU can control and the tuning different motors need.

Fuel and Ignition along with sensor outputs are all the same whether you are talking about SOHC motor or DOHC motor.

The reason a p06/05 can be converted is b/c the boards that the ecus are made on are similar enough to allow small changes to enable these features.
