Ole Skool Hybrids...
If anyone does care I am here but I mostly peep now since most of the topics are the same and I guess its cold around the world so nothing breath taking is going on.. Who else is here from the ole school of honda hybriding..

old school hybriding is when you would have to cut of the passenger motor mount bracket and weld it in the right spot just to put a ls motor in a crx or civic! way before any engine mount kit!

lol Show and prove homey.. Pics are always good. I was probably the top 5 person on Honda-tech to brave swapping a h22 into their accord at the time..

LMAO, my friends did that WAAY back when there when mount kits where in the process, and extending shiftlinkages by welding them. A b16 in a crx back in the day. Damn did it break CV joints.

Actually that is my daily driver.. But going to put it on the track this year and maybe a few street runs just to put the fear in peoples hearts..

I don't know how old school I am, but I did these two right around the time you did yours, if I remember correctly. I remember you were one of the very few that started to do the H22 in the eg/ek. Gave hope to me . Well here they are:

My first swap was back in 98, put a LS into one of my eg's. Thought it was the fastest car around back when i did the swap. haha, now a b18b is almost as common as seeing the stock d series in the civic.
