Odd Swap...
How many people here have a good idea on how to swap an H23 with an automatic tranny into an EF Civic/CRX? Hold yer response! I've got a buddy who's just gotten interested in Hondas and he REALLY wants a swapped honda. Here's the problem: He has prosthetic leg, his left leg to be exact. He's tried to learn how to drive a manual, but it's not a pretty sight. He was feeling all down, so I told 'em that I would help him out and find out all I could. So... does anybody have ANY helpful info on this matter?
Well, this is what is limiting you. There is not good mount kit for h22a with manual trans in EF/crx. It is going to be hard to find some for an auto. You are going to have to make them yourself or have someone do it for you. Next is wiring. First you have to convert it to OBD1 then add all the auto trans wiring.
The chassis is not the best to start with.

wish i could be more help...but i think this is awesome. this guy wanted to drive a swapped honda so bad he tried to learn to drive manual w/ almost impossible circumstances. this guy deserves a ton of credit.
as for an h23..i think it'd be an uphill battle. why not look into a b series? there are auto trannies available, and mount kits for the ef chassis already exist. i'm not sure what issues you'll have w/ the auto, but this may be a better starting point. best of luck
