Default ODB1 - ODB0 Conversion?

I would like any web sites with tech info and some help form Honda-Tech members. I'm dropping a B17 into my 90 hatch.

is your hatch an Si? If so then you can do the following without converting from DPFI to MPFI. If its a DX or STD model (DPFI) then you will have to convert to MPFI first.

Distributor : couple of options 1. use your current distributor or an 90-91 LS integra dizzy and you will have to modify the legs (the part that the three 12mm bolts go through to bolt to the head) and use a timing gun to set timing.
2. Find a OBD0 b16a distributor on ebay or on this board.

Injectors : use your current injectors from your Si (if it is an Si).

Motormounts : Hasport.com, Placeracing.com

Axles : 90-91 Acura integra 5spd axles any model

Ecu : PR3 B16A dohc vtec ecu

Wiring : wire up vtec solenoid, vtec pressure, and knock sensor

Optional : convert to obd1 using obd0-1 harness and use the b17a dizzy, injector and a P30 or P61 ecu.

It currently has a DOHC ZC, I've all ready wired the MPFI this December. I have the mounts and axels all ready.

Is it easier or more economical to step up or step down OBD levels?

Does anyone else have any advice on the swap? Is there a wire harness conversion I can get?

Contact blown90hatch. That is where I got my conversion harness and it has good instructions.

locashracing has made an OBD0>OBD1 harness...i just wonder about the injectors and all the resistor pack crap you have to convert over, since the OBD0 injectors are peak hold type.

It looks almost like it would be easier to convert to obd1 rather than go backwards. Is it or no?

You can keep your non-obd (si) injectors when converting to obd1, just keep the resistor pack. That way, you don't have to change injector plugs. If you want to run obd1 injectors, loose the resistor pack and change the plugs. Some peeps like to keep the resistor pack so they can use 450cc mits injectors in a turbo setup. They are low impedance and require the resistor pack.

The easiet thing would be to use OBD0 parts from the B16A - distriubutor and ECU. You can reuse your current injectors, resistor box and wiring harness. It would make the swap near plug and play other than the extra wiring for VTEC, knock, etc.
