Default OBD2B to OBD2a

I have a 2000 Honda Civic Cx.. with a crvtec (b16a/b20b) swap.. using OBD1 distributor and OBD1 GSR ecu...

I was wondering if I can use a OBD2a GSR ecu with my OBD1 distributor setup... by using the OBD2b to OBD2a conversion harness without engine problems..

bascilly without replacing anything under the hood...

A 1992-1995 distributer is completely compatible with an OBDII ECU.
