Default OBD2A motor into OBD0 car

I'm looking to help a buddy use my old D16Y7 in his 1990 civic sedan. The Civic Sedan has a blown motor and I've got a OBD-2A D16Y7. This is a BEATER work car that just needs to run, could he use his wiring harness, ECU, and injectors and distributor to make this setup work?

The cheapest way to do it would be to just slap all the obd0 stuff onto the obd2 motor. That would include intake manifold, exhaust manifold, alternator, distributor, etc.
