Default obd2- obd1 b16 questions

ok heres the deal. i've searched and still cant get a specific answer.

I have a 2000 civic si and i just recently puchased a obd1 jdm b16a

I am trying to get this new motor wired up and i am using the old obd2 harness from the old b16.

when hooking everything up i noticed that the distributor plugs dont line up and neither does the one on the alternator.. am i doing something wrong here?

would it work if i just used my old dizzy and alternator from the obd2 b16? would there be anything else i would need to swap? intake manifold?

i already have the conversion harness and an obd1 p28 ecu.

i know i sound like a noob but im really having a hard time getting this all figured out. thanks

swap alternator, distributor, and fuel injectors, everything else should plug right in
