get a 97 ex harness(OBDI) wire VTEC,knock, and oil pressure to it, get the skunk2 96-98 OBDII to OBDI converter harness. get a chipped P28 ECU. that will take care of your engine management. to get the engine in the car,,, get a 99 si cast mount that bolts to the block underneath the cam gears Approx 50$ then use stock mount, and get the 99 si rear tranny BRACKET,, not mount, aorund 60$. then the engine will drop in. use all intagra shift linkage and axles and so on. you NEED a OBDI hanress to match the components on your GSR engine. OR,, the easy way,,, get OBDII injectors and distributor for the GSR engine,, then get the 99-00 si engine harness that will plug right up with NO re wireing required,, i know becuase i did that swap just now.then 99-00 OBDII to OBDI skunk2 jumper. then a chipped p28. that the easy way,, choose wisely...

the GSR rear bracket wont work, its too long. and.. the EX harness is easier becuase it has VTEC wired up already.i dont know about the LX. i think youll have to add a knock sensor and oil pressure. its easy, when the GSR engine is out of the car, take the EX harness and plug it into everything that it can, and whatever is left, wire it up.
or use the 99-00si harness and convert
