well i did some search and i decided to go with obd1
now to get what i need, someone told me to get a
get 97-01gsr or 97-01 typeR harness, and get a p07my stockvx ecu,p30,or p28 chipped
now, having my stock p07 chipped , would it be like a p30 or p28 chipped? what are the advantage and disadvantage of it ?

You still haven't told us the car or the motor and exactly what you are doing... I really don't have a clue what you are talking about right now... Like I said explain more and we'll probably be able to help... Peace

why did you even post this topic if your not going to tell anyone what car and what engine you are working with. Its like your just talking to yourself. why even bother posting it??????????

just use the stock vx harness and use a p30 or a chipped p28. there are some guys on this board that could hook u up with a program that will work well with your set-up.
Okay just as jmm96gsr said... use your VX motor loom... You'll just have to add in a wire for the KS... The VX harness has a lot of "garbage" EGR wires which don't do anthing so if you just relocate them you'll be set... I would take the time to modify the harness to fit the B16... You'll either have use the the 2000 Si injectors and modify the injector connector since your VX harness is setup for with the OBD1 clip... I personally like the 96+ connectors just because they look cleaner.. The other option is too just use your VX injectors... A B series and D series injectors are the same at 240cc... I would probably just rewire the connectors and use the B16 injectors since they are newer, but there is not problem going the other way... You'll also have to modify the distirbutor connector.. Just cut your plug off your VX distributor and match all the wires up by color.. The 99-2000 Si has the IAT sensor mounted in the intake tube so you won't have one mounted in the intake manifold runner.... It would be best to get a 99-2000 Si IAT and connector and wire that onto ur VX harness... since the connector is a bit different you cannot just plug the 99-2000 IAT into the VX harnesses connector... The other option is to drill and tap the manifold so that you can use your stock VX IAT sensor.... Another option would just be to use a Del Sol B16 intake manifold with the runner mounted IAT... You'll also have to modify the alternator plug... Hope you can understand this boring **** that i'm trying to explain but it's just the basic **** you need to rewire the motor... If you don't like rewiring then yes you could just get an ITR or GSR engine loom... they are quite spendy (~$500 from Honda/Acura) but everything would plug straight in and the only thing you would have to modify would be adding a wire into the interior wiring harness for the KS it runs out from the shock tower connectors to pin D3.... I find it a lot easier and cheaper just to take your time to modify your stock VX harness.... You can make them just as clean if not cleaner than OE... Good Luck Latez

thanx alot all of this info is very helpful ,
one question , what does a knock sensor?
beacuse i was looking at chipped ecu , and it says
disable knock sensor
and disable speed govern.

haha the KS on a DOHC VTEC motor just detects abnormal vibration, which on a stock motor would be a ping, knock, or detonation... Once you start building a motor you run into problems... Forged pistons are a lot noisier and can cause you ECU to think that the motor is knocking at which time it will pull some timing and dump more fuel to play it safe... A stock KS really doesn't do that much good because it is really only effective on bottom end say ~4500rpm and lower... If you get a chipped P28 or have any other prog that disables the KS then you are set... It's just one less wire to add in... If you want something that will save your motor from detonation etc then look into a J&S Safeguard... It does the same thing as a KS and ECU except if it detects any trace of a knock or anything resembling detoation it will pull timing and change your fuel correction through the entire band... I personally would just get a P28 or get a prog that gets rid of it... Good Luck
