I put a b18b engine & ecu in my 93 del sol si using my d16z6 wiring harness. My ecu is throwing code 21, vtec press, I think it might be in the wiring( I hope). I am using a p75 ecu, can I use a 91 ls obd0 harness on a 94 b18b engine, and has anyone ever heard of this problem? I did a search but nobody had any clear answers or gave me any where to look. please help a brotha in need. I can't pick up any honeys with a cel

Keep the d16z6 harness on the b18b, it will work fine. You will have an extra plug for the vtec solenoid and vtec oil pressure which are not used on the b18b, as it is a non-vtec engine. It sounds like you are using a vtec ecu, remove it and put in the LS (p74/P74) ecu, your code will go away.

On a side note, you cannot use the OBD0 harness in your car.

i'm using a p75, it is an obd1 non vtec ecu.

thanks for the help on the obdo harness, I can scrap that idea now, and I did notice i have 2 unused plugs
