OBD Wiring Mess
I have a '90 CRX si (OBD0)
I just bought a B18C5 swap (OBD2)
In the swap I received a chipped P28 ECU (OBD1)
I want to convert the car to OBD1. The swap did not come with the engine harness so I don’t have any plugs to use. All I have is my stock harness. The guy I bought it from had the engine running in his '94 Del Sol (OBD1), but he bought the car with the B18C5 already in it so he has been no help trying to figure out the wiring. Are the electrical connectors the same between OBD1 and OBD2? I mean could I go to a junk yard and find OBD1 car to rip wires out of? Is there a better way? I thought of just sending my stock harness out to be redone but I would like to save some money and do it myself. Not to mention I believe it is best to do all your own work on your car, but I may want to ditch that idea when it comes to wiring. Thanks for any help.
