OBD II motor into OBD I car...what to modify??
I'm just asking this question so that I know in the future. What do you have to do to motor in order for it to work? You have to re-wire the distributor, correct? Anything else?
Thanks
Craig.

No need to modify the Engine nor the Chassis of your car.
It is all Plug N' Play, as long as you use a ODB-1 ECU and assuming it is an EG body you'll be OK !!! TRUST ME !!!

Yeah, I know about the chasis...that's no problem.
But you don't have to do anything to the distributor in order for it to work with the OBD I wiring harness? Like, rewiring so that the plugs match up?

Nope. Totally PNP
The only "tricky" part is reversing the ploarity of the IAB signal. The OBD1 ECU uses a positive trigger and the OBD2 engine uses a negative trigger. Its pretty easy to modify though. It took me about 10 minutes with a Helms manual to figure it out.
