Re: ob2ENGINE to 95si (BrianP)
change the plugs on the dist and vtec solenoid. Also wire up the secondaries on the geezer mani.
or trade your dist and solenoid for obd2 one...

with a p28 they still need to be wired?
uhhh trade my OBD2 distributor and soleniod for an OBD1? is that waht you meant?
the engine is OBD2 and the car/ecu is OBD1

i did this with a 2000 si motor in a 94 hatch. i cut off the plugs from the old distributor and soldered them on to the new distributor. As far as the secondaries they are useless without the p72. As far as the vtec solenoid i had to add the wire to the ecu but you dont since your car is wired for vtec. You may have to change the plug as previously stated.HTH

From what I have been told if you run a chipped P28 you do not need to add any wires. the chipped ECU is programed to run everything the way it sits. That is what i have been told at least

I recently did a 96 gsr swap into a 92 cx hatch. I just kept the obd2 gsr harness attached to the motor and plugged it up to the car. Everything worked fine. The obd1 ecu wont be looking for any of the obd2 sensors. We also used a chipped p28. There's no need to wire up the secondary butterflies since there wont be anything activating them anyways. Hope that helps.
