Default noisy coilovers???

I drove my H22 swapped Civic tonight. I decided to drop the clutch about half throttle. Obviously I spun tires all the way through first gear. But once I dropped the clutch U could hear the Ground control Coilovers slap the shock. It made a ringing sound like chain slapping on a steel pole. Anyone else experience this problem? Are they supposed to be this noisy??? I have never had coil overs b4, so i figured I would ask. Thanks.

never heard of it before. only thing that really keeps the sleeve in place is the load on the spring. I'd check the rubber o-ring thats supplied by GC and make sure its there

sounds like the tire(s) are rubbing against the fender(s). check your height.
