SOHC and DOHC vtec switches interchange?
My friend just got done with a second gen B16 in his 97 DX Civic. It threw one code, Code 22. I checked the VTEC pressure switch and... it's not there? There is a plug where it's supposed to be and there is no switch.
EDIT: Found out some JDM b16's didn't have one.
If I got the whole unit off a Z6 motor will it bolt to the b-series motor (I know it most likely won't)?
I never saw this before so any help would be appreciated!

JDM OBD2 engines are not equiped with them..
Not sure what will fit it, but you can also rig it up without one.. I just forget what you have to do.
Try searching, I know it was covered in a previous topic about the Vtec oil PS.

Re: No VTEC oil pressure unit on B16?? (Nameless)
Yeah it's wierd because it had obd 1 plugs on it cause he had to swap it all out. Yeah i'd like to know how to rig it so it will work cause it's not going into vtec now and the only option is to buy another vtec PS if the sohc one won't work.
