no Vtec crossover.....

no Vtec crossover.....
i just put 98 Gsr swap in my 00' LS...i wired Vtec sel. and pressure switch to correct pins on my obd1 p72...i also wired knock sensor.....the thing is...at 4400...nothing happens...no crossover...i know i should be able to hear it and feel it...but nothing!
i wired my secondaries and they are opening at 5800 and boy..are they loud...so why wouldn't i hear/feel Vtec crossover? please help!

(with the car not running) run power directly to the solenoid. check to see if it clicks. if it does, run a continuity check on the wire.
is your vtec oil press sensor wired and grounded correctly?

no cels at all...pressure sensor is wired and grounded to the thermostat housing(the ground there)...i'll check to see if the seloniod clicks.
