Default no spark

i think this should be here. i used an obd1 gsr block in a obd2 type r while i'm building the type r block but when i went to go start it there is no spark so i was thinking that the crank angle sensor might have something to do with there being no spark but i'm running a p28.

so would the crank angle sensor matter at this point or should i look at a different area?

it was strange cause it sounded like it wanted to start but i pulled the valve cover off to make sure i was getting oil in the head so i pulled the valve cover off. i was getting oil put the valve cover back on went to start it and then no spark.

any help or info would be helpful cause i don't know what else to do.
thanks in advance

Are you using your stock ITR harness? Grounds hooked up? What distributor?
