newbie accord swap question
My moms gave me a 91 accord special edition.. It is a dark silver metallic color with gray leather seats, and an auto transmission. It needs a new engine and transmission, it does not run but the interior and exterior are in perfect condition. I know very little about cars and I wanted to know about how much it would be to get an h22 and manual tranny swap, the total cost for parts and labor. I know that this is just an estimate but I wanted to know if it would even be worth it. Also how much would it be for an f22, manual tranny swap? Thank you for your time. Can anyone recomend a place to do have this work done the San Fran bay area or Sacramento

Re: newbie accord swap question (crackheadBOB)
hey whatup, it depends, usually a whole swap sells for like 2g's thats just the swap, not the conversion, anyways, i have an extra H22A that i don't use what so-ever, i see you live in Sac-Town if you want i'll sell it to you cheap. i want to get rid of it, anyways, hit me up, maybe i'll even help you drop that motor in.
talk to you later,

crackheadBOB, sounds like u might have hit the jackpot here with vroomvroomcivic.
but anyway... i know there has to be alot of junkyards in ur area. or somewhere nearby, u should hit one up, will save u a ton of money, and just find a manual accord like urs, and take all the manual stuff out of it... pedal assembly, shifter cables, clutch cable... brackets.. prolly want the gauge cluster too, since they are different. might even wanna check the console, i dont think they are but could be different too...
hell, at a junkyard, u might even be able to find a running/ or in good shape f22 that would pop rite in there.
