Default new engine

I got a 93 civic hatchback and want to put a new engine in it. What would be quicker in it the b16 92+ or an acura ls engine. I can't seem to find a place that sell ls engine and trans, anyone know?

A B16a2 would be faster than an ls. But with the b16a2 (vtec), your looking at spending more money. It would also be a little more reliable, because ls's are normally just pulled out of old, crashed tegs.

Bah... I'd go for the LS motor w/B16 tranny. I've driven all sorts of setups and I like that setup over the straight B16 setup, but that's me
