Default New B18C swap but now can't figure out few things?

Hi guys. I recently did a swap on my Ek. The motor is a JDM block with a 00 GSR head fully ported. Also running aem cold air intake and Buddy club exhaust. But there's few things thats kind of confusing me. First the butterfly on the manifold isn't connected to anything. Should it be connected to anything??
Second there a sensor or something of that sort on the top of the manifold and the guy who did the swap didn't connect that to anything either?
Third should the butterfly be connected to the fuel pump? Thank you in advance for all the help.

Sorry if the questions are really a noob question but i need help and this seemed to be the place to come.

1. The butterfly is suppost to be connected to the IAB canister under the manifold and that should have a 2 wire connector plugged in. Then there is a vacuum source that goes into that from a vacuum source on the manifold and then there is another output that goes to the diaphram on the manifold.
2. the sensor on the manifold is a IAT sensor that should be plug in but they could have run another IAT on the intake boot but if not that needs to be wired.
3. That should go to the purge valve on the manifold in the third picture.
4. whoever did your swap sucks.

What else did you need to know? (JeffBro) he already answered all your questions.

I have the same swap (although USDM) in my 00 hatch, and the IAB solenoid wires that come out from under the intake manifold should be wired directly into the ECU. The ground wire should be grounded somewhere around the engine bay, and the positive goes to a plug on the ECU (B-16 to be exact). Refer to this diagram to figure it out, and look under the wiring/ECU pinout section on ff-squad.com - that site was INVALUABLE in getting my car to run right.

Also, regarding the Purge Valve sensor - not sure what harness you are using (if your car is a 99-00 you should be using a 99-00 Si/Ex harness). IF that is the harness you are using, you will have to extend that plug because it is not long enough to connect to the sensor when stock. If you don't have a plug for this sensor, you'll have to get one from a junkyard and wire it in yourself. Here is another diagram that will show you where the positive wire goes on the harness (the other should be grounded obviously).

Be sure to thank Katman (member on here) for doing an enormous amount of work to help out swap noobs in need of help.
