I want to know if I can swap a 2.2L DOHC Vtec head onto my 2.2L SOHC block? I have a '92 Accord and want to know if I can just swap heads or would I need to change the whole engine.

 

i dont think that you can. maybe i'm wrong someone please correct me if i am but it is the same as trying to put a gsr head on a civic block.

 

I'm pretty sure you can't put a DOHC head on a SOHC block.....but, they also thought ( back N the day ) you couldn't put VTEC heads on non-VTEC blocks. But if you get it to work, let us know. I've never heard of it being done.
