Attn Big James: H22 Accord swap
I saw in your pics that you have an H22 in your 94-95 Accord?
My friend is intrested in this swap..but we dont know much about what parts are compitable and which arent. Do you need all new parts like any other swap or can the mounts, axles, ect be used?

Re: Attn Big James: H22 Accord swap (HX_Guy)
Sorry it took me a couple of days. I only read the internet from work, and I have been off.
OK let's see. Here is how we did mine. First it is a 97 H22, so it is OBD2. We wanted to keep it OBD1. So we used the Accord wiring harness. The car was an LX, so wwe had to add the knock sensor and VTEC wiring to the harness. We then had to get a 1994 GSR computer and haveit reprogrammed by HASport to run the H22. By keeping the Accord harness, we wer forced to change out the distributor. I had to use one from a 1994 Prelude Si. The throttle cable is also from a 94 Si. The axles are from an Accord. the motor mounts are Accord mounts also. Except for the drivers side. You can either use a 94 Prelude mount and grind the edges slightly, or do what I did. We had a 93 Civic Si mount sitting around, so we used that. He will need to purchase a new header for his car. He will also have to shorten the exhaust by about 6 inches. The A/C, P/S, and Alternator are all from the Accord. We mounted those to the brackets that came with the H22.
That is pretty much all I can think of right now. If you have any other questions, let me know.
