Default Need help in VA.

I have a 96hx with a b16a2 that is need of some major help. The car coded the knock sensor so i looked at it and there was no plug in it and it was no where to be found. The car lopes while idling and also stumbles on acceleration. When vtec kicks in its only like half power. I can tell you this f@cking sucks. Do any of you no some good and reliable tuners in va or nc.

thanks matt

If you can get it to Richmond I know there are a couple of shops there but I don't have any specific recommendations. All the shops I go to are in NOVA. or MD.

When you say "i looked at it and there was no plug in it and it was no where to be found" do you mean that there was no knock sensor or that there was no wiring for it or both? In any case, it wouldn't be too hard to install a knock sensor and run the wires straight to the ECU. Try that and see if it fixes the problem.

I haven't had any experience with them personally, but I've heard good things about Inline Proformance in Springfield.

Shad fucked your car up, man your car was at his house for 2 months he told yoou he needed $300 for finsihing the car up and additional things you needed. You spent your mony on DUAL EXHAUST because you have a Black Widow Kit, you bought a nice set of Skunk2 Camber kit among other things but you needed to get your motor right. You spent your parent's money elsewhere, I was there the night you and your dad picked up your car, ready to take it to the body shop right? Unfortunately Shad has been trying to get on and put his side out but is unable to register, I'll let him post his replies later. Shad is a straight up guy he did this on the side at his house, he could've really took you for your money by going through the shop since the owner needs to get his cut too, but he didn't tried to help a young enthusiast on the side, if I remember correctly as a favor to your dad since he knew someone who knew Shad. Why didn'y you call Shad and say hey what do I need? He's done a lot of swaps and wouldn't leaave anything unturned of course if he told you there was additional work that's another matter. He'll take care of it. i'll let him post.
