Re: Need help! on sleeper build
thats the beauty of the magic right there he wants to run 13's with 500 hp. he's gonna need those stock tires so that he doesn't have the traction to run those ridiculously slow times lol. i would hope a 500hp civic would be in the high 9's to low 10's on slicks.

Re: Need help! on sleeper build
best bet is to get a ek civic, do the CRV 4wd conversion, and convert to b18c with the 4wd transmission. big turbo, water methanol, oem ford 7.3L air box, with recirculated bov, and make sure if you have an external wastegate, that it is connected into the exhaust. have a full size radiator so you cannot see the engine, and 225/50/r15 tires should be decent with 4wd, and you will need to upgrade the clutch packs in the rear differential.

6th Gen 4 door
13's on stock tires nope nope nope.
Quiet? turbocharged cars aren't always quiet when you got the blowoff and 2.75-3"+ exhust
H22A N/A? not going to happen. Honda motors aren't designed for that kind of ****. Turbocharge a built B and hope to get 12's on stock tires.

Re: Need help! on sleeper build
This whole thread is absolutely hilarious. OP, maybe if you told us why you had to follow all of these (quite frankly, stupid) rules and goals, we could tell you why you're wrong. Have you ever even sat in a 500 horse Civic, let alone driven one? Are you trying to cheat the rules in a class race? Do you even know what "stock" wheels and tires are capable of?
I'll give you a hint on the wheels and tires. 99-00 Si wheels, 15". Wrap them with some Proxes RA1's, or Advan A048's, or g-Force T/A's. Stock wheels, street legal tires, and, quite frankly, more grip than you probably know what to do with.

Is this your brother?

A better thing to do would be to get some real goals instead of just trying to beat a friend.

Re: Need help! on sleeper build
If he wants to beat a stock SRT4, 220whp in a (non-gutted) Civic will be enough. That would mean a simple N/A h22 w/type-r muffler, a boosted stock-block d16 of f22 with the same muffler, or any h or b-series with a small turbo/low boost turbo kit through a stock muffler.
Anything listed above will be in the mid-low 13's with street tires and be silent like stock. The N/A h22 will have issues getting above 210whp w/o a free-flowing exhaust, but anything else listed could be taken to 12's with stock rubber & more boost.
