looks like a k20 or k24 swap and those arn't headers thats the intake manifold a special type called itb's (independent throttle bodys)

ITB's are called individual throttle bodies.

1. intake manifold with ITBs
2. fuel rail
3. that's just the alternator/power steering/accessories belt (these motors have timing CHAINS inside, no more timing belts!)
4. by quick glance this is a K20A motor from the newest civic SI/RSX.

the header (singular) is on the opposite side of the head (valve cover). K-series motors are reversed from what you are probably used to. ITBs give better throttle response and high RPM horsepower gains, however they are a pain to tune.

search ITB on here and you'll get TONS of material!

1) ITB's
2) Fuel
3) Power Steering
4) K series

Why are you posting a civic with a K swap in the accord forum?

3. That is for the power steering pump, but from the looks of it, they took it out. Prob some useless pulley just to keep the belt size the same...
4. Some K series........... LOL!!!

Read up on some K series motor. Intake in the front, exhaust headers in the back. Timing chain. I VTEC.

ok, I didn't really understand why you would post a picture of a Civic in the Accord forum to start with but you had some questions so I let it go. Now what is the point of those last to pictures?

If you like ITB's give it a shot. Don't think anyone makes any for the F series so you would have to build your own with motorcycle ITB's (do a search, it's been done before. also linked in FAQ).

If you like those bends in the exhaust (probably either a ANR, i think thats the brand, or a Bisi) you can get one from Bisi for the F series engines I do believe. But I doubt if it's going to be cheap.

yeah, Bisimoto Engineering I do believe. He is a member of this site

Also, your 96 Accord LX already has a F series engine, a F22B2 to be exact. So no need to "put one in". And if it's just for show, I don't see the point in swapping in a H22 or anything else for that matter. IDK, maybe I don't get the whole show scene
