I did this a long time ago on a B16A in a 90 Si hatch before it was as easy to get the HASport or HCP modded linkage. Let me look for my note and I'll get back to you. It's fairly easy, you just remove about 2" in a certain section then weld them back together.

Sounds harder then it is..

I am using a 93 teg linkage with my S1 in the Rally Car.
I just cut the stabilizer bar in the straightest middle section, mounted the linkage and bar and measured the amount of overlap. I cut the overlap and used that length left over as the amount I needed to cut from the shift arm linkage. Welded it all back together and it shifts like a dream!
