I have a 2000 Gsr motor and tranny that was converted to OBD 1 on my last car and i still have the original OBD 1 engine harness and OBD 1 Ecu. My new car is a 98 Civic Ex (which i sold the original wire harness). Is there anyway i can use OBD 1 engine harness and OBD1 Ecu from my old car in my new car. The state i live in does not have emissions by the way. I appreciate any help.

I ask because the 98 Civic Ex engine harness that i sold had 4 plugs for the Ecu and an extra plug that looks as if it went to the interior harness. My OBD 1 engine harness only has 3 plugs

4 plugs into the ecu i have a 98 ek coupe ex and it only has three, anyways obd1 i think wont fit because of different plugs for the harness to connect to the interior harness i think if u have the wire diagram you can rewire it but it would take time its a lot easier to just buy one
