What are the codes numbers and stuff. how do i even jump it? where do i start?.

99 h22a4 prelude motor (OBD2)
ecu p13 (OBD1)
using a skunk2 obd2 to obd1 convertering harness.

need help car is sputtering and need to find out whats going on..
