I recently rebuilt my B16A engine using the B20B block and my old head car has been working fine no major problems, however my gears have recently started grating got my mechanic to check it out seems the synchro rings are gone (oh by the way B16a stock gearbox) anyone else had this problem?
I need to get a set of new synchro rings for my 1992 JDM civic.
Anyone know where i might get these at a good price?
I tried searching on the net but no luck. One guy quoted me $240 seems a bit expensive to me though. Any help would be appreciated.

 

um, yeah - my syncros are going - my B16 gearbox is a 91 so its getting on...

(i think hte person who had it before was lesst than adept at gear changing...)

are you going to do it yourself? it sounds quite hard and intricate!

Nah going to get my mechanic to do it. U have any idea where to buy them?
