Sounds like a normal Ls/Vtec conversion to me, lotsa ppl do it so it shouldn't be too hard. But I think u need a few stuff, theres some good conversion kits online, just type in Lsvtec kit on google or somewhere, but yeah try searching here on
H-T and u should find tons of stuff on it, but yeah it should definately work to answer ur question, just make sure it gets done right, my bro had a friend who did this the cheep way and he was always having problems, oil leaks and stuff. Good luck with yours though.

I kno but i dont have time for that.. I would have to take it to a shop.. I just want to put the head on to get it running then later find a good builder.. But isnt puttin the head on like a 45 min job? all i kno is the #1 cylinder has to be at TDC right? and align the cams so there at zero degrees or something like that

well, your going to have to do that no matter wat, u need to run the ls vtec line and everything else, OR you just get a LS head and slap that on and call it a day until your ready

your going to need to some same tapping on the block and the head for the oil to reach the head, hence ls vtec conversion, you cant run the vtec head with out the ls vtec conversion, there wont be any oil getting to it
