Re: need a ecu (rookie2nr)
Hey you might want to just start calling salvage yards and looking for a ecu from a vtec delsol. I did and I got one for 200$ the only thing I've yet to do is get the thing rechiped because the red line is at 7000 not 8200. So take a look and you might score something for a good price.....

If your Del Sol Vtec ECU is redlining at 7,000 (probably 7,200), then you have a SOHC Vtec ECU (P28). I can supply you guys with chipping, or a complete SOHC ECU with a DOHC Vtec program. E-mail me if you are interested.

get a P28 they are much cheaper about $80-150, then chip it...you be much happier, in the long run...the difference after chipping is non-existant (of course unless you use a knock sensored enabled program)...
chipping price depends, check out my website

Re: need a ecu (rookie2nr)
The ecu I got was the first thing I ended up getting for this pain in the *** swap I did, that took since october to complete. If anybody ever buys an engine from jspec engines in toronto, beware! They suck and really f--cked me with my swap. The only thing that was good was the engine itself because everything inside is cherry; but I had to buy everything and it was supposed to be all inclusive. Yeah when I get back to the states I am definately looking to get it rechiped this 7200 thing is bothersome. But I guess I am relaxing enough here in Thailand.

if you are talking about http://www.jspecauto.com then i agree. I got an engine from him and he sent it without axles, mounts and a bent connecting rod.
