My J32A3 Integra
I picked up this motor from a shop in Toronto, Ontario.
Paid $700 for the motor AND trans. It's an '05 TL 6 Speed w/ LSD and is 100% factory w/ 75,000 Km's. When I got it home I stripped off the AC pump and PS pump. I bought the HASport mount kit w/ axles and the engine is now in the car. The swap was very easy so far. The hardest part was hacking off the trans mount from the car.
The engine came with shifter cables and wiring harness. I still need:
Exhaust
Shifter Box
Eibach front springs to deal with added weight
Fuel system setup for return (factory setup is returnless)
More Wiring
ECU
CL or TL instrument cluster w/ harness
CL-S Intake Manifold w/ throttle body
Misc nuts, bolts, and custom wiring done by myself.
PICS!! Enjoy!!

Re: My J32A3 Integra
If i had to redo my swap, i would have gone with the Hybird shifter..... i know its really pricey but well worth it.
The cluster, you can use the stock Dc's
Go check out J32a.com, there is a dude on there with a Dc and it's sick.
Maybe he can help you out with some things.

Re: My J32A3 Integra
After taking off the head, I found P2V contact marks on all three pistons in the front. I taped everything off, and used a dremel (very lightly) to repair the damage (which was minimal). I had pics of this process but I can't find them. I had to replace 1 exhaust valve ($13) in the left cylinder. I buttoned it all back up with a new HG ($33) and had 220 PSI in all cylinders.
I figure the dude made a bad downshift, maybe trying to go from 6th to 5th and put it into 3rd, popped the clutch... *rattle rattle*. Oh crap, I'll sell it.
I still can't believe it though. Motor, trans, clutch, flywheel, jack shaft, wiring harness, alternator, all the goodies... and stock!! for $700 CDN. I'm not ruling out any further surprises though. For all I know the clutch could be baked. But I have until the spring to work everything out.

As for that white DC your talking about. It's a sick ride. I love how high the shifter is. He also used EG door trim to finish off the edge of his hood cutout. That is just plain awesome. It's a very inspiring car.
No pics of the hood. I havn't started on it yet. As far as ground clearance goes, I will get a pic for you. It's pretty generous, even with my car lowered, leaving lots of room for those pesky bumps and steep parking lot entries.
UPDATES COMING... Need some more parts before I start more work on it.

The Hybird shifter bolts to the factory holes, so that means that you dont have to cut a hole in the floor for your cables.
Plus, the shifter is fully adjustable, up down left right, its the kit you should get....buts its $400.00
And that white Dc you know of, hes useing the Hybird kit and love's it.

Re: My J32A3 Integra
i havent read to much detail on these swaps yet, but i watched some random 1/4 mile videos with them and they aren't seeming as fast as i would expect.
for the weight of a civic with this engine isn't a 6 speed slowing people down?

Every thing takes time.
I have a friend with a CL-S and ran 1/4 in 12.8.......all stock, and now he just put a turbo on it, so next year we will see what it can really do.

The fact they bolt into the factory location is a huge plus. What about the underside? Do they include a shield that's fitted to the exhaust tunnel? What are the clearances like? QUESTIONS!!

UPDATE
I have bought some parts from a fellow J32a.com user.
Fuel setup (mine is returnless, I bought the CL-S fuel setup which is return style)
CL-S ECU
CL-S Full wiring harness - Engine, charge and sub
CL-S TB - Mine is TBW. He included the MAP and IACV with the TB.
Parts should arrive this week and I'll be putting them in. I have been researching some other things I have to do with wiring, one of which is a jumper harness that looks like this:

Re: My J32A3 Integra
For what it is, it's a pretty stout platform. These engines have A LOT of potential and we're seeing them come into the scene (for swapping) in the very first stages. Once there's more aftermarket support, (IM's, Cams, Valvetrain, Engine Management) I think you'll see a lot more of these.
If I'm not satisfied with the power, I'll boost it down the road. Those Pseudo exhaust manifolds are very friendly for bolting on turbos. A TT J series would be a road demon... and would have no traction until 4th... If you were lucky.

These aren't designed to be drag monsters- high hp and quick ETs. They are an absolute BLAST for daily driving with unlimited torque!! Having 200+ ftlbs at 2k RPM is always a good thing!
Mine ran a 12.7@107. 95 Si, stock J32A2 with a test pipe. No headers either

Yeah I can't wait. I've read all your build threads on all the forums. If my swap goes as smoothly as yours, I'll be enjoying it soon.
You can prob help me with my jackshaft issue. I can't seem to get some solid facts. What shaft do I need to run the ha**ort axles? I have the factory shaft (j32a3 6spd male end) and it obviously won't work. Any suggestions?

Re: My J32A3 Integra
Wiring is not bad at all. If I was going to keep it 100% stock as if it were in the TL it would be challenging. The TL is a complicated beast. I am using a CL-S ECU and wiring harness so it will be a cinch. The TL has 2 extra O2's and TBW to name a few differences. The CL-S is much more basic. I know I said I was keeping it TBW which meant keeping it all stock with the TL ECU but it's too much work.

Re: My J32A3 Integra
I bought an Accord shaft from an '00 V6 Auto and it didn't fit. Like not even close. The holes were way off. I guess the J block has many different variants. At this point I think I might press out the shaft from my factory bracket and press in an Accord one. I measured and they are the same length. I'll double check and measure with the axles before I take everything to a driveshaft shop.

Re: My J32A3 Integra
My package arrived lastnight. I'll probably put everything in on the weekend and start on my jumper harness as well. I started pulling apart my obdII integra ecu lastnight to use the socket from it. Should be fun to start the wiring. Most guys dread it... But I love it. Shrink tube, solder, wire strippers... Can't wait!!
