Re: my h2b setup. just finished it
to be honest ive run it on 91 and 87 and for the daily grind i cannot tell a difference. but when im going to the track or a sat. night or somthing i always us 91. the only reason i dynoed on 87 is because i had a full tank in the car and it was a last minute thing. a realy good tunner was in town dynoing at ctrdynosports for the day and i got a chance right then and i didnt want to try and drain my tank or anything. lol.
the jdm motors are anywere between 10.6:1 and 11.0:1 comp and usdm hondas have comparable comp to that running on minimum grade gasoline.

Compression ratio: 10.0:1 (North America); 10.6–11.0:1 (Japan)
that's quite a difference........you definately need 91 or higher...

nor will 'feel' a difference between 87 and 91/93 Its not for performance its for saftey.
It costs $20 to fill my gilrs 98 ex(87) and $23 for me to fill up my si(93). $3 bucks more per fill man...small price to pay to protect that $2k motor.

Nice clean done swap. Im just mad how mine isn't turning out like this. I think I'm one of those VERY few that couldn't do a successful swap =/

there will be more to come. ive been talking to innovative mounts about an a/c bracket for an h-series that uses a d-series compressor. so im going to try and put woking nice cold a/c on this car.
