My h23/h22 plans......
Found an H23 block with a spun rod bearing for 100 bucks. The crank will prolly be bad but that's okay im really focused on just getting an h23 block for cheap.
Then I found a good Crank, Type S prelude pistons and stock stress relieved rods for 200 or so.
Im gonna buy all this - but i need to know if the type s pistons will fit the h23 block - they were designed for the h22 right or do the same principle apply as it would with a bseries ls/vtec .
I plan on buying an h22 head and building internals up as cheap as possible.. I dont want to spend too much money on this project if I can help it. I also plan on buying an h22 lsd transmission.. thats where the bulk of my money will probably go... but the main focus of this project is later down the road im going to run Turbo. Prolly a t3/t4. Whats the cheapest approach to prepping the motor for a turbo and staying somewhat with stock internals. I mean, I don't want to blow my motor but I dont want to have to make everything fail proof either.
Suggestions welcome

Using an H23 crank and Type-S pistons will give you an incredibly high compression ratio (over 12.3:1 I think), which would be HORRIBLE for boost. The non-oversized Type-S pistons will fit into the H23 block without a problem. You biggest challange is going to be cooling the pistons. The H22 has piston oil squirters, the H23 does not. You NEED to install these squirters in theH23 block if you want to be able to run the H23/H22 combo up the the normal H22 redline.
