Default My H22 Update :)

I redid my balance shafts, by lining it up through the maintenance hole. All my attempts to line the rear up by the dot on the gear were futile, because I didn't have the internal gears properly lined up.

What a freakin difference it made!

The car idles like a dream, and even with the a/c on full blast at idle, there's only a HINT of vibration through the dash.

I honestly think it vibrates less than it did when I had the b18b with stock hollow mounts.

I'm very pleased...I was pretty discouraged for a while there, but

Many thanks to laugHin22CX for the post from the Helms manual. It really helped me out.

Also, just for the record, I drove around for a day with the balance shaft belt removed, and I can say without a shadow of a doubt, it does vibrate a whole heck of a lot more at idle than with the shafts engaged. It does rev faster though

Sorry for rambling, I'm just very happy

Sweet man, I know how it feels when you try so hard to get your car to run right and it just doesnt. But atleast you figured it out and she runs smooth now.

I'll run her as soon as I get it tuned.

I've also got an exhaust leak that I just cannot fix.

Collector on Jun header is larger than my 'high flow' cat, so no matter what I do, I can't get a good seal at that point. So I'm goign to redo the whole system before I take it.

Plus I'm throwing codes.

I'm still waiting on IAB and EGR plugs from Prospeed as well.

You guys know how it goes
