Default more wiring problems, whee!

Ok, my next problem (and hopefully LAST ONE) is the jdm harness dosent reach far enough to plug up to the stock harness. it only makes it to the end of the intake manifold, i think im gonna need about another 6 inches of wire. the problem is this. my injector wires are holding it up what should i do.
cutting and extending my wires are the last resort.

have you started it yet?

also, what about instead of running the wire from the right side of the IM (when looking at front of engine) running it off the left side, that would pretty much get rid of the wire cover tho. would that work?
