Map sensor code on B20B
Car is 93 del Sol S. (D15b7)
Motor: stock b20b with LS wiring and OBD1 distributor and alternator and LS intake manny.
I have searced the archived content and did not find out anything i didn't already know.
I have been trying to get the map sensor to clear for some time now. Here is what i have to date:
I totally removed the firewall mounted map and took the wiring from the plug at the sensor and pinned them into the cannon plug from the wiring harness at the strut tower. They now correspond with the ls map sensor wires coming out of the other side of the cannon plug. This now plugs into the map sensor at the throttle body on the ls. I have tried other used map sensors and to no avail, the thing still spits the map sensor code (3).
Should i be using the original map sensor somehow? Remember, i am using the LS engine wiring harness. I still have the d15 harness, but i was told it was easier to use the ls harness. Any ideas?
