ok everybody,
here goes...
i have a 99 civic ex 5spd. i put in a 2000 prelude motor (25000 miles) 5spd. i used the civic harness, and fit it to the motor. i am using the 2000 prelude ecu (the immobilizer has been taken off) . i am using the 2000 prelude distributor. the car will only , it will not turn over all the way. the wire harnes has been taken out 3 times and everything traced on it so i do not THINK the problem is in the harness.. but then again i have no idea why it will not start. someone please tell me something i dont know.... the poor car has been sitting for over 2 months now... my civic is dying....

Well, for one, are you getting spark? Is there fuel being pumped to the fuel rail? Is your timing set correctly?

Just a start for you.

 

1. no spark , but we cant figure out why there is no spark. the distributor is practically new. and i've checked the wiring so many times.
2. there is fuel going to the fuel rail.
3. timing is good.

 

ok.. finallly, WE ARE GETTING SPARK NOW, and the fuel rail seems to be full. but the injectors aren't firing?!?!?!? someone ever have this problem?
