Default lsvtec into an ek - which shift linkage???

quick question, i am pulling an lsvtec from a delsol and putting it into an 96 civic ex. i was wondering which shift linkage i could use. i searched and got conflicting info. will the stock civic shift linkage work? what about the delsol? if neither of these will work, which shift linkage should i look for? thanks.

Use 99-00 SI shift linkage. The del sol linkage will not work and neither will your stock d-series.

if you mean the del sol vtec linkage it should fit just fine.
any b-series rod linkage will work

The Del Sol VTEC shift linkage will only work in a Del Sol with B series, they are not the same length as the EG/EK B series linkage. The 90-93 DA Integra linkage will not work either.
For any Civic EG/EK B series swap, the proper linkage is the USDM 94-01 Integra or 99-00 Si, or the JDM Civic EG/EK or Integra DC linkage only.

DC shift linkage will not work Period. I've came accross this before and its to short or was it to long dont remember. MUST use a 99-00 si.

My close friend has a 96 CX with a second gen JDM B16A. I installed everything and rounded up the parts for him. I bought brand new linkage rods from Acura for a 1994 Integra LS, it fits perfect. Are you sure that you had the linkage from a DC Integra?

I bought a b16 del sol tranny and shift lnkage from a member on here. i have not installed it yet. He had the shift linkage in hie ek and he told me it worked fine. As long as it is a DOHC shift linkage from a sol.

This is all from personal experiece so hear goes. First swap i had was a B16 from a del sol in to a 92-95 hatch. With this shift linkage it was to short. Had to swap that to a 94-01 gsr. Next was a 97 gsr swap into a Ek. I'm positive this was GSR shift linkage since I pulled it out of a wrecked gsr and it also has a dual bend shifter. I'm not sure how you got it to work but Mine wouldnt. This was few months back so i dont remember if it was to short or to long. I'm thinking that the 99-00 si shiftlinkage and the Del Sol Vtec shiftlinkage is the same but I dont have any laying around to compare. Since you order from acura it had to be a integra so I'm lost to how it fit.
