LSD Transmission identification.
if theres no stamp you have 2 options
1) put car in gear, jack car up. turn one wheel clockwise, the other should turn counterclockwise. (im not 100% sure that is the correct way to do it.)
2) pull an axle, if you see a big *** metal bar, its NOT an lsd transmision.

With both front wheels in the air they should both spin the same direction if one is turned if the tranny is LSD...if its not then one will spin onw way and the other will spin the other.
Not necessarily on both wheels spinning the same direction while the car is on jackstands. I have a JDM H22a w/ LSD tranny. I have had the car up on jacks many times. Turned one wheel forward and the other rotates in the opposite direction. But if I do a burnout, I leave plenty of rubber from both wheels with witnesses on both sides of the car watching the front tires. I believe the type of LSD I have is called "Torsen" which acts like an open dif. in normal circumstances but get on it and it will detect slip and drive both wheels at the same time.

To find out if you actually have one, you need to look at it, like you said...

If you got a jdm h22 lsd, the tranny code is: m2b4, whereas the non-lsd is m2a4.
Other tranny codes...usdm h23a1 tranny: m2s4, usdm h22a1 tranny: m2f4, usdm h22a4 tranny: m2ya,
usdm type sh tranny: m2u4. Those are all the one's I can remember.

mine didnt have the stamp on it...but if you can see all the way through the tranny when the shaft isnt in then its lsd...if it has a bar in the way then its regular...
this is pretty much what it's gonna look like:
(you can see the end of the half shaft through the diff.)
This is the Euro R Accord h22, but I'm pretty sure they all look the same.
