Default LS VTEC sluggish acceleration

no smoke out of the exhaust
vibration on the front end
cars sounds like wrx scoobie on acceleration with a deep boowoowoo sound
exhaust magnafies the sound
checked plugs rotor and cap
did compression test
changed the fuel filter
changed plugs no moisture on old plugs
its a new build
no exhaust leaks

and spark plugs or distributor... sounds like your not firing off all 4 cylinders

make sure map and tps plugs aren't switched or check for vacuum leaks also
