Default ls/vtec question

I just got a used lsvtec swap... basically got it for nothing but when i installed it im currently using a chipped p28 and i started it up and it smoked for a min... the next day i start it up its kinda smoking but for some reason when u hit vtec it clears up... does anyone maybe know why? and its white grayish smoke....

could it be seeding the rings? my friend said that but i donno... its been about 50 miles now ... is that normal ?

running alittle rich maybe,?.. you should get a vafc or get a good tune before you start smashin hard

Seeding the rings? Never heard of that. SEALING possibly. Sealing should not be accompanied by any smoke. No its not normal. Why are you hitting VTEC with a smoking motor with less than 50 miles on it?

if you break your motor in with some thick oil it'll help set the rings better and everything else.. after that put some full synthetic and smashh boyy
