Ls/vtec problems
Ok i have a full built ls block with ctr pistons, shot pined ls rod, and all new internals.Bolt ons- intake, stock b16a header, and aftermarket exhaust. The head is stock but slightly shaved with copper head gasket.I have msd ignition, new plugs wires, distr, and am using 90 si wire harness.Oh and Mugen chipped Pr3 ecu.
When im driveing down the highway going about 60mph the car will start to bog to 55mph then it will jump back to 60mph.
My vtec feels like its not ever there. When it ingauges there is no power just the vtec sound.
And here is the big question. Why did i run 14.8 on drag slicks with this set up.And what the ^(%* is wrong?

Get it dynoed so you you can tune it properly...Did you replace your fuel pump, FPR? And maybe your driving sucks too, hehe...just my .02
FYI, my semi stock LS (b18b), lightened flywheel, jdm header on an EF ran 14.6...I'm dropping my fully built lsvtec motor this weekend so after its broken in, I'll take it to the track and see what numbers it will put up.

You said that you hear VTEC engage??? but there is no power??? I'm thinking its your ECU not adjusting your fuel/ignition curve. Do you have a Check engine light? What head do you have? And what IM are you using? How's your ignition timing? Fuel?
