Icon2 LS Vtec piston choice

Ok so to start out I have a B18B LS block and a B18C1 GSR head the head will have all stock internals. So with the LS bottom and P72-A0 GSR pistons and a stock .026" OEM head gasket, its basically at .011" piston to deck height (that is with no material removed from head or block). Is this too little clearance for p2v to run? Stock LS motor is .013" p2d clearance and stock GSR is .033" p2d. Has anyone run the combo before for a ls vtec with gsr head and p72 pistons, I know most will say to just clay the motor but I would like to keep from spending money on pistons and finding out that they hit. I plan on doing some milling of the head or block if it is necessary, so Ill probably have to get a custom head gasket thickness too make up for p2v clearance. So some insight as to all this from people with more experience in LS VTEC setups would be greatly appreciated.
