Default ls/vtec headstuds

Yes I did a search and I could'nt find anything so my question is... I'm using an ls block w/ a b16 head which headstuds do I use. Some say the GS-R headstuds are a little too long and cause the headgasket not to seal right. Are the b16 headstuds the way to go or what?

you should use b16 headstuds,...and if you are gonna be looking at anything over 200 horsepower i would recommend getting ARP headstuds

Ok one person says B16 head studs are too short and someone else says they are the ones to use. We need someone to answer this question who knows which ones to use or someone that is doing the same swap. I know one says GSR's are fine. sooooooooooo...

I would use the ARP studs that correspond with the head. B16=B16 studs, GSR=GSR studs. Also all the bolts are the same on the ls and the GSR except for the 2 center ones.

From my personal experiance I just finished an LS/vtec with a B18B botom end and a B16 head. I searched for B16 ARP head studs but everyone was on back order so I opted for the B18C1 ARP head studs.

Everything went together great with about a 1,000 miles on it so far.
