Default LS/VTEC assembly

Ok, I ran a search and nothing showed up, so dont flame me if theres a post about it under a different name, but I was wondering what items I would need to build a LS/vtec motor, also, my uncle mentioned something about a CR/Vtec, I was wondering if there is any difference or not, any help would be appreciated
