Well, do you already have a B18c? If so, just sleeve it to 84mm, use Endyn Rollerwave pistons, and it'll be almost 2.0l. Plus, it has the oil squirters and main cap girdle stock, so not as many reliability issues either.

crvtec is a very reliable engine to run street or strip.we have done several of these in street trim with 240-260 chp.our shop car with a mild crvtec engine built
with endyn pistons, rods, and endyn head work is 258 chp.have done a couple of
shakedown passes this week on this setup:7.45 @ 94 mph 1/8th and 11.93 @ 114 mph.this is with conservitive engine tuning.IMHO there is no replacement for dis-
placement !!! good luck with your engine.

civic97dx,
I am sure glad you decided to post again. How about asking Larry who built that motor for him. You will be suprised to know that it is the same person you condemned in your first post.

side note, I am in no way affiliated with that company

Would these be the same "friends" that blew the motor up just driving down the road, less than a week after it was built? But 10 different people saw him at the track doing a smokey burnout in the waterbox. Just my opinion, but some people try to cover their own stupidty by blaming others for their own mistakes.
You can rest assured that if Jamie builds your motor, and you use some common sense, that motor will last you a long time.

I have that article on my site, some other LS/VTEC info too........

If you're gonna make a hybrid, do the CR-VTEC..... it's the better of the 2 IMO....
