what are the benefits by running a LS crank on a gsr block ? and how durable is it , specially on high rpms 9500 ??

I swapped an 90' LS crank pulley on to my sisters 95' Gsr cuz' I cracked her GSR pulley while pulling the engine out. The only difference I found was that the Ls pulley used a v-belt for the a/c and the Gsr used a ribbed one. I took out her whole a/c so I did'nt care about that. As for benefits and durability.... I think its just the same as a Gsr pulley. But I might be wrong.

the ls crank has an 89mm stroke while the gsr and typer have an 87.2mm stroke. the 87.2mm stroke is better for reliablity. the 89mm puts too much preasure on the cylinder walls so resleaving may be nessesary. its basicly just like the ls/vtec, but with oilsquirters and no mods to get the block and head to work together. as for high revs, the 87.2 is better.
