K24a1 Build
Hello all, I am new the Honda scene but this is not a "pipe dream" topic, I have the motor in my garage right now ready to tinker with. The problem is everyone I talk to has a different idea for what is best to do with it. Every time I try to google answers all I find are "VTEC Killer" threads which is NOT what I want to do.
Anyways, I have 2 questions. My first question is, am I better off swapping the heads from a K20a2 or just having the 24a1 heads port/polished, etc... And a if so, what are the basic reliability mods you'd consider worthy of putting into a k24 block (to increase rev and such).
Second question is, since the K24a1 is not true Vtec, what should I (IF I EVEN SHOULD) do to "convert it" (please forgive my honda noobishness), or is it best left as it is?
Please remember I'm new to this so try and keep acronyms to a minimum. Thanks for all of your help in advance.
