i was planning on getting a k24 swap and take out my gsr motor but my question is will it fit into my 98 gsr engine bay and will i have any body problems if i modify the body after?

The kseries motors fit with the correct mounting kit. What do you mean by changing the body?

Also do a quik seach and you will find alot of pics of the swap...

Yes, like said before the swap is possible if you use the right mounts. As for body problems the only thing I can think of would be that you DO have to cut a body motor mount OFF the car to complete the swap. As for wiring if you use the HASPORT wiring or the Hybrid-Racing harness both CAN be turned back to stock if nessacary.

Another thing you will have to address is the shifter. More than likely, you will have to cut a BIG hole out of the tunnel where the factory (or B-series) linkage bolts up. In my opinion if you do the swap its a "K-swap car" for life....but defanatly nothing wrong with THAT!!

The k24 sits almost 20mm taller too. Will it clear the hood?

in a DC2 chassis with Hasport mounts, Yes
